SMALL TOUR EXTENSION OF CAMBODIA ( 12D/11N )

ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PHNOM PENH
Arrival at Phnom Penh airport, transfer to your hotel and free time to rest.

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, you will take tuk tuk with your guide to the National Museum of Fine Arts, an exposed admirable collections (bronze, bas-reliefs from the temples of Angkor, jewelry, weapons, Palanquins, various ceramics and coins). In continuation, visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant In the afternoon, visit the Independence Monument and the Central Market. This market is of great architectural originality, built by French architects in an art deco-colonialist. Next, you will see Wat Phnom, the oldest sanctuary on the only hill in town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: PHNOM PENH / KAMPONG THOM / SIEM REAP
After breakfast at hotel, depart for the town of Kampong Thom in private vehicle with your guide. On the way you will stop at Skuon to see and taste if you like roasted tarantulas. Arriving in the town of Kampong Thom, take lunch and depart  to visit the temples of Sambor Preikuk. Back in Kampong Thom and drive to Siem Reap. Arrive at Siem Reap, check in and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel

DAY 4: SIEM REAP / ANGKOR TEMPLES
After breakfast, depart by tuktuk with your English speaking guide for the site of Angkor. You will start the tour with a ride on an elephant from the south gate of Angkor Thom to Bayon temple. Then, you discover with its gigantic 200 faces with mysterious eyes looking at all directions, enigmatic smiles in their smiling serenity. In continuation you will visit Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and the Leper King. Lunch on site, the afternoon you will go for the big circuit: Preah Khan, Neak Pean and Pre Rup, and will explore the magnificent temple of Ta Prohm gripped by tree roots. In continuation you will appreciate the beauty of Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang. Back at the hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel

DAY 5: SIEM REAP / ANGKOR TEMPLES
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by private vehicle with your guide with 40 Km from Siem Reap to visit the temple of Banteay Srei, a jewel of pink sandstone carved entirely dedicated to Shiva and built in the 10th century by King Jayavarman V. It is a small temple considered one of the most beautiful temples of Cambodia. Then, you will visit the Banteay Samre, elegant temple built in the XII century. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, and admire its unique architecture and its splendid reliefs. You will end the day by the Phnom Bakeng with sunset.

DAY 6: SIEM REAP / ANGKOR TEMPLES / TONLE SAP
After breakfast, start with your English speaking guide in tuktuk to discover the picturesque floating village of Kampong Pluk.  Most houses along the road are built on stilts 6 to 7m height, and enjoy a hiking boat navigating through the flooded forest. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the pre-Angkorian temples (9th century) the Roluos Group: Bakong, Prah Ko and Lolei. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 7: SIEM REAP / BATTAMBANG
After breakfast depart by private car to the city of Battambang. On the  way you will stop at the village of Puok to visit the silk farm and discover the different stages of the complex process of silk production in hand. At Preah Net Preah you will make a short stop in the workshops of sandstone carvings. Arrival in Battambang, check in the hotel and departure by Bamboo train, Norry. This train is a small motorized platform that runs for a few kilometers amidst lush countryside on narrow railway that connects Battambang to Phnom Penh. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the San Pao Phnom pagoda with its top of the hill where you can enjoy a panoramic view. You will leave for the continuation to visit Kamping Puoy, huge water reserve between two hills (Phnom Kol and Kamping Puoy). The site is one of the most important achievements of the Khmer Rouge regime, namely a dam 3km hand built between the hills of Phnom Kul and Phnom Kam Pinh Pouy. During the reign of Pol Poth, the construction of this work has caused the death of tens of thousands of people, due to malnutrition, disease, overwork and abuse. Today is a lake of 1 900 meters wide and 19 kilometers long, holding some 110 million cubic meters of water. You will go for a boat ride of one hour, and will observe the quantities of lotus and birds returning to the lake at sunset.

DAY 8: BATTAMBANG / PURSAT / KAMPONG CHHNANG / PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, start with your English speaking guide by private car to Phnom Penh. You will stop to visit by boat (private boat) the large floating village Kompong Luong (12,000 inhabitants) on the Tonle Sap in Pursat town. This floating city has doctors, bars, karaoke. Back on the road to Phnom Penh and lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit a village potter in Kampong Chhnang . Many families of this village make pottery for sales in all Cambodia. Arrive late afternoon in Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 9: PHNOM PENH / KAMPOT
After breakfast, depart for the town of Kampot by private vehicle. Arrival and check in hotel. Afternoon, you will go for a ride of one hour by boat on the river and see beautiful landscapes in mountains. In continuation, take a tour of the village and authentic central market. Return to your hotel, free dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10: KAMPOT / KEP
After breakfast, departure by private car to the town of Kep and visit a pepper plantation farm. Next, visit Phnom Chonork with its pre-Angkorian temple inside a cave, visiting a fishing village. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 11: KEP
After breakfast you will depart by private boat to spend the free day in the island of rabbits. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

DAY 12: KAMPOT / PHNOM PENH

Breakfast at the hotel and free time until your departure to Phnom Penh airport for your return flight.
