ITINERARY

DAY 1: FRONTIERE LAOS – VEUN KHAM – BANLUNG ( RATANAKIRI )
Arrival at Veun Kham / Trapaing Treng border between Cambodia and Laos. Meet your guide and depart by private car to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri. Arrival in Banlung to check in hotel and depart to discover the most spectacular waterfalls of Teuk Cha Ong and Okachang, located in a groove in the heart of the jungle. If you wish you can swim in the cool waters. Back to Banlung and night at the hotel.

DAY 2: BANLUNG- SAI VOEUNG
After breakfast, you will go to the north towards the village of Taveng, the heart of Kroeung territory through bamboo forests and bush landscapes. On the way, stop at the site of Plang Veyrum, volcanic rocks including a ridge of lava with a small waterfall (in the rainy season only) surrounded by tigers caves. In the afternoon, the road continued to the village Kroeung, where there are many impressive single homes starting in northwest direction. You are driving crossing bamboo forests, rubber plantations, cashew , coffee farm before arriving at the village of Sai Voeune located on the left bank of the Se San river and the view of the Chinese village on the other side of the river is particularly beautiful. In continuation, ride a boat to get to the village of Ka Chohan where you will discover their funeral rituals and totems. By late afternoon,  return to Banlung. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3: BALUNG – KRATIE
After breakfast, excursion to the volcanic lake of Yeak Laom, beautiful body of water nestled in the tropical rainforest and you can be swimming and relaxation in the heart of this beautiful environment. In the afternoon, drive to Kratie and Stung Treng through the red dirt roads. Arrive in Kratie and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4: KRATIE - SEN MONOROM (Mondulkiri)
After breakfast, visit the town of Kratie, you will go to Kampi to see the freshwater dolphins of the Mekong. In continuation depart for Sen Monorom, capital of the province of Mondulkiri (215km = 5 hours) through dense jungle or wild orchids bloom. Arrived in Sen Monorom to check in hotel. In the afternoon, visit the waterfall of Monorum, a hydroelectric plant equipped with 2 turbines can provide 185kW each. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5: SEN MONOROM- POUTAIN
After breakfast depart to the village of Poutain with its ethnic minority Phnong and their former long collective residential houses which are now abandoned but still interesting to see. You leave for a trek on elephant back and discover forests, hills and small villages. During this walk you will pass through lush vegetation along a river. Back to Sen Monorom and night at the hotel.

DAY 6: SEN MONOROM - KAMPONG CHAM - KAMPONG THOM
After breakfast, depart to the town of Kampong Thom. On the way you will stop in Kampong Cham province and you will visit a rubber plantation and factory in the town of Chup Wat temple where you will discover the daily life and customs monks. Arrival in Kampong Thom and check in hotel.

DAY 7: KAMPONG THOM - SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will visit the temples of Sambor Prei Kuk, located 30 km from the city, a site dating from the 7th century, whose temples are considered some of the most finest examples of pre-Angkorian art. After that, leave for Siem Reap.
Onward travel to Siem Reap (about 174 Km = 3hours) with a short stop in Stoung to visit some colonial houses, red houses, and the bridge of Kampong Khdey (built during the period of the Khmer Empire ). Arrive in Siem Reap in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8: SIEM REAP- TEMPLE OF ANGKOR
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the visit of Angkor Heritage of Unesco, you will start with the city of Angkor Thom Thom, including Victory Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Angkor Wat with its unique architecture and its splendid reliefs. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 9: SIEM REAP- TEMPLE OF ANGKOR
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Banteay Srey also called the temple of women, considered one of the most beautiful temple of Cambodia and Banteay Samre temple, elegant 12th century remained well preserved where one can enjoy beautifully carved decorations, In the afternoon, we continue the big circuit: Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Mebon, Pre Rup and Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungles with huge roots. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 10: GROUPE ROLOUS - KAMPONG PLUCK
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the Roluos group, 15 km east of Siem Reap. This name refers to several temples in the late 9th century, Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong. Although these attached to Angkor, the place is pre-Angkor. You will make a buffelo cart ride through the village and enjoy the beautiful scenery of countryside. In the afternoon, you will discover the picturesque floating village of Kampong Pluk;  most houses are built on stilts 6 to 7m height, and enjoy a hiking boat navigating through the flooded forest. Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 11: SIEM REAP – BATTAMBANG
Morning depart by private car to get to Battambang, the second largest city of Cambodia. Battambang is located at the intersection of major arteries that go to Thailand. On arrival, transfer to hotel. After a short rest, you will go for a guided walk in the center of the city in colonial style, starting with the visit of the provincial museum. Then we continue our drive along the Sangke River through beautiful landscapes till reaching the pagoda of Wat Slaket. This is the residence of the Buddhist Patriarch. We then visit the temple of Wat Ek Phnom (XI century).
Back to town and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 12: BATTAMBANG
After breakfast depart for a country  with a unique and famous bamboo train. In return you will visit a market where people make the Prahoc, fish sauce which all Khmer loves. In the afternoon, depart for the visit of Phnom Sampov, where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. In continuation you will leave to visit Kamping Puoy, huge water reserve located between two hills (Phnom Kol and Kamping Puoy). The site is one of the most important achievements of the Khmer Rouge regime, namely a dam 3km built between the hills of Phnom Kul and Phnom Kam Pinh Pouy. During the reign of Pol Poth, the construction of this work has caused the death of tens of thousands of people due to malnutrition, disease, overwork and abuse. Today is a lake of 1 900 meters wide and 19 kilometers long, holding some 110 million cubic meters of water. You will go for a ride in one hour boat and can observe birds amounts accruing on the lake at sunset. Back in Battambang and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 13: BATTAMBANG - PHNOM PENH
After breakfast we will go to Phnom Penh by National Highway 7 across 3 provinces: Pursat, Kampong Chhnang and Kandal. In each region, we will arrange to make short visits. Arrival in Pursat, orientation tour of the city is to discover some interesting colonial architecture and floating village of Kampong Loung. Arriving in the town of Kampong Chhnang, we visit the pottery village. Evening arrival in Phnom Penh for check in and overnight at your hotel.

DAY 14: PHNOM PENH - TEMPLE OF ANGKOR BOREI
After breakfast, departure of Tonle Bati and visit the temple of Ta Prohm laterite built by King Jayavarman VII (1181-1201) on the site of a shrine to the 6th century, visit the temple Yeay Skin located 150m north of Ta Prohm. In continuation, visit Prasat Neang Khmao, the Temple of the Black Madonna (10th century). In the afternoon, you will visit Angkor Borei. Back in Phnom Penh and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 15: PHNOM PENH - CHAO DOC

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until noon, transfer to Pier for departure by boat to Chau Doc.
