ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PHNOM
PENH
Arrive at Phnom Penh
airport, transfer to your hotel and free time to rest
DAY 2: PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, you
will take tuk tuk with your guide to the National Museum of Fine Arts, an
admirable collections (bronze, bas-reliefs from the temples of Angkor, jewelry,
weapons, Palanquins, various ceramics and coins). In continuation, visit the
Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon,
visit the Independence Monument and the Central Market, a great architectural
originality, built by French architects in an art deco-colonialist. In
continuation you will see Wat Phnom, the oldest sanctuary on the only hill in
town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: PHNOM PENH
KAMPONG CHAM
After breakfast, depart
to the town of Kampong Cham. On the way you will make a short stop in the
village of Skuon to see and taste the
local specialty, grilled spiders if you wish. You will enjoy a magnificent
panoramic views throughout the Kampong Cham area. Arrival at Kampong Cham,
check in your hotel. In the afternoon you will go to visit the island of Koh
Paeng or you will go through the incredible Bamboo Bridge. Dinner and overnight
at your hotel.
DAY 4: KAMPONG CHAM /
SEN MONOROM
After breakfast, depart
for Mondulkiri .On the road you will stop at Snoll to visit a rubber plantation
in the country. After lunch continue towards Sen Monorom, the capital of
Mondulkiri province with scenery and a climate quite different from the rest of
the country. Arrival in Sen Monorom late afternoon. Check in your hotel and
overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5: SEN MONOROM
Breakfast at local
restaurant. Early morning visit the local market where most Phnong people from
neighboring villages come to trade with the baskets on their backs. Then, you
go for a day trip on the hills to discover villages with their tribes and
beautiful waterfalls. Around Sen Monorom, there are hundreds of minority
villages. One of the largest and most accessible is Phlung village inhabited by
Phnong. The huts curiously have wooden the walls and thatched the roofs. You'll
be lucky if you see more than a handful of people during the day because they
are all working in the fields. Picnic lunch. Then you will go for a trekking to
explore the jungle.

DAY 6: SEN MONOROM /
BALUNG / RATANAKIRI
Breakfast at local
restaurant. Lead to Bou Sra about 40 km northeast of Sen Monorom. This is one
of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in Cambodia. You will discover
the village of Phnongs. In continuation
depart for Banlung crossing a dirt road and enjoy scenic landscapes of jungles.
Picnic lunch. Arriving in Banlung, transfer to hotel and dinner and overnight
at the hotel.
DAY 7: BALUNG / VOEUNG SAY
Ratanakiri is a very
isolated and rarely visited region. There are tribes of different ethnic groups
in villages, roads or tracks in red dirt off a lot of dust, rubber and pepper
plantations. In the morning, visit the Banlung market to discover the different
ethnic groups (Kroeung, Tompuon, Jarai) to sell or exchange their products,
vegetables, gathering in forest, game, etc. These races are very recognizable
in small round wicker basket that women carry on their backs or in front of them
for the market. Then start with car and guide for the village of Sai Voeung along
a shabby track. The village consists of several communities, Chinese, Laotian and
Tompuon. We will take a canoe along Se San Reiver to visit a Tompuon tribe that
practice funeral statuary (Totem, wooden statue bearing the likeness of the
deceased, installed in a "graveyard"). Back to Banlung and night at
the hotel.
DAY 8: BANLUNG /
ANGDOUNG MEAS
Breakfast. Depart to
meet the different ethnic groups in their villages. They are still small villages,
some with homes of single curiously mounted on bamboo poles with several meters
high. These ethnic groups are very poor and live in an ancestral way. A leader
directs the life of the village. Next, visit waterfalls few kilometers from the
city including Katieng waterfall. Back to hotel and overnight at hotel.
DAY 9: BANLUNG -STEUNG
TRENG -PREAH RUNKEL
After breakfast, depart
for the city of Steung Treng. Arrival to Steung Treng and transfer to hotel. At
the beginning of the afternoon, depart to the community of Osvay for a meeting
with nature and you will continue to Preah Runkel to see picturesque of waterfalls
in the Mekong Lbak Khaon. Back to Steung Treng Overnight at hotel
DAY 10: STEUNG TRENG -TBAENG
MEANCHEY / SRAEM / TEMPLE OF PREH VIHEAR
After breakfast, depart for Preah Vihear. You will take a ferry to cross the Mekong and make a short stop in the town of Tbaeng Meanchey. Then, go to Saem and arrange your luggage at the hotel .Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will
reach the entry station to the site of Preah Vihear. This one is located on the
hill overlooking the valley. We take tickets for the 4x4 car that will take us
to the top of the hill (quite steep climb by the new concrete road). The Preah
Vihear temple dates from the years 889 to 1108. It consists of 4 groups of
temples that we discover as the ascent of the hill where it is located. Back to
Sraem, free dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11: SRAEM / BENG
MELEA / SIEM REAP
After breakfast you
will leave for Siem Reap. You are browsing an authentic Cambodian countryside
with miles of rice fields across a multitude of village. You will go to
discover the temple of Beng Melea (60 km from Siem Reap). You will visit and
discover this long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle.
Siem Reap Arrival to hotel and free time. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 12: SIEM REAP /
ANGKOR TEMPLES
After breakfast depart
by tuktuk to Angkor. you will start the tour with a ride on an elephant
from the south gate of Angkor Thom to Bayon temple. You will discover
the gigantic 200 faces with mysterious eyes looking in all directions,
enigmatic smiles, beings in their smiling serenity. In continuation you will
visit temples: Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and the Leper King.
Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will go for the big circuit:
Preah Khan, Neak Pean and Pre Rup, and will explore the magnificent temple of
Ta Prohm gripped by tree roots. Then, you will appreciate the beauty of Banteay
Kdei and Srah Srang. Back to the hotel, free dinner and overnight at hotel
DAY 13: SIEM REAP /
ANGKOR TEMPLES
Breakfast at the hotel
and depart by private vehicle with your guide 40 Km from Siem Reap to visit
Banteay Srei, a jewel of pink sandstone carved entirely dedicated to Shiva and
built in the 10th century by King Jayavarman V. This temple is considered one
of the most beautiful temples of Cambodia. In continuation, you will visit the
Banteay Samre, elegant temple built in the XII century. Lunch at a local
restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, and admire its
unique architecture and its splendid reliefs. You will end the day by the Phnom
Bakeng for the sunset.
DAY 14: SIEM REAP /
ANGKOR TEMPLES / TONLE SAP
After breakfast, start
with your guide by private vehicle to explore the picturesque floating village
of Kampong Pluk, where most houses are built on stilts 6 to 7m height, and
enjoy hiking in a boat navigating through the flooded forest. Lunch at a local
restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the pre-Angkorian temples (9th century) the
Roluos Group: Bakong, Prah Ko and Lolei. Return to your hotel, free dinner and
overnight at the hotel.
DAY 15: SIEM REAP /
BATTAMBANG
After breakfast depart
by private car to the city of Battambang, On the way you will stop at the
village of Puoch to visit the silk farm and discover the different stages of
the complex process of silk production in hand. At Preah Net Preah you will
make a short stop in the workshops of sandstone carvings. Arrive in Battambang,
check in the hotel and go to ride a Bamboo Train. This train is a small
motorized platform that borrows a few kilometers, amidst lush countryside railway
that connects Battambang to Phnom Penh. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the
afternoon you will visit the Phnom San Pao where you can enjoy a panoramic view
throughout the countryside. Next, you will go to visit Kamping Puoy, huge water
reserve between two hills (Phnom Kol and Kamping Puoy). The site is one of the
most important achievements of the Khmer Rouge regime, namely a dam 3km hand
built between the hills of Phnom Kul and Phnom Kam Pinh Pouy. During the reign
of Pol Poth, the construction of this work has caused the death of tens of
thousands of people, due to malnutrition, disease, overwork and abuse. Today is
a lake of 1 900 meters wide and 19 kilometers long, holding some 110 million
cubic meters of water. You will go for a boat ride for one hour, and will
observe the quantities of lotus and birds returning to the lake at sunset.
DAY 16: BATTAMBANG / PURSAT
/ KAMPONG CHNANG / PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, start with your guide by private car to Phnom Penh. Arrival in Pursat town on the halfway, you will stop to visit by boat (private boat) the large floating village Kompong Luong (12,000 inhabitants) on the Tonle Sap. This floating city has doctors, bars, karaoke. Back on the road to Phnom Penh and lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch visit to Kampong Chhnang, a village potter. Many families of this village make pottery selling in all Cambodia.
Arrive late afternoon in Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight at hotel

KOH RONG
Morning depart by boat
to the island of Koh Rong. Free day and night at the hotel on the island.
DAY 19: KOH RONG
Free day on the island
